was proud to participate in the 2005 Giri Exhibits in Sebastopol and Gualala, California. A celebration of Japanese Art and Culture.
It was a benefit to acknowledge the show of support that Sonoma and Mendocino County residents gave to the Japanese community in World War II during their forced separation to internment camps. The support came in many ways but principally neighbors doing what ever they could to insure that the farms, businesses and homes of the Japanese community would be protected until their owners returned. Part of all sales, including this lamp, were donated to the Japanese American Citizens League.
With single stem blooms on both sides of the lamp, leaves and blooms are shown off to their best effect.
